The Pony Club here at Faughanvale Stables has been running sucessfully for a number of years now. We have dozens of children that visit us during the week and on Saturdays as part of our Pony Club programme.
You do not need your own pony! We have lots of suitable ponies here at the stables that you can ride on a regular basis as part of your training.

The Pony Club charity was founded in 1929 and is now represented in 18 countries and has a membership exceeding 110,477! A majority of the most successful riders in all disciplines of British equestrian competition have been Members of The Pony Club.

Tests, Achievements and Awards!
Badges for the little ones ...
The Pony Club Training structure encourages Members to take tests which enables them to learn progressively about horse and pony care and riding. The tests are taken at recommended ages and are designed with certain objectives in mind.
Bronze, Silver, Gold & Platinum Awards
Progessive tests are taken at varying stages and are divided up into Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum. Each stage follows a structured plan to suit the childs abilities.

Our Pony Club is currently running on Saturdays.
Silver Award Members - 10am riding / 11am theory
Bronze Award Members - 11am riding / 12pm theory
A number of our Pony Club Members come all day Saturday from 10am - 4pm helping with leading, grooming and pony care. Our all-dayers ride in the morning with their Pony Club Group and again in the afternoon either on a hack or for another lesson. They still do their theory of course!
