Learning to ride at Faughanvale Stables is fun! Safety always comes first of course, but learning to horse ride should be an enjoyable and rewarding experience. This is why we put emphisis on ensuring all the children at our stables are known individually to our staff, that they are put in groups with other children of similar ages and riding ability, and that each child is assessed at regular intervals to ensure they are progressing well.
For parents: We understand that safety is the most important consideration when deciding where to take your child horseriding, and thats why we want to assure you that Faughanvale Stables meets all the necessary legal requirements to teach your child/children to horseride.
Suitable for children over 6, we can accommodate a few more "all dayers" to join our existing girls and boys that stay all day. For just £25 you can stay at our yard (and be supervised by an adult member of staff), ride for 2 hours and help to look after our ponies. Lead our ponies (supervised), do some light mucking out, groom our ponies and help to tack up! A dream come true! Call 07710 985335 for availability.

The Pony Club: This is the best way for children to learn to horse ride! On a Saturday morning our Pony Clubbers come for an hour riding lesson followed by an hour lesson off the ponies which involves everything from safety around ponies and the yard, feeding, tacking up and leading ponies safely. Each Pony Club member follows a structured course (child friendly) and is awarded badges and certificates at each stage.
2 hour party - 10 children for only £80! Ride for an hour and use our party room for an hour. Pony games such as bean bag bucket and hunt the letters ensure all children join in the fun regardless of their riding experience.
Non-riders more than welcome, everyone is supervised! Fun comes as standard!
